Silly question?

ive got some old skool tapes with tunes that id like to id , just wondering how i transfer audio tape to pc or cd for samples on this thread . cheers :$

get a lead from headphone socket on tape deck to line in on PC soundcard

and use a program like cool edit or media player or music match jukebox to record the audio onto your hardrive in MP3 format to upload here

get programs for free from www.download.com (type "mp3" into the search)
