can anyone id this -
from an old carl cox tape late 92,
start with a phone call about an illegal rave
then hoover version of the old
cadburys flake advert tune?

Yeah this one has never been repressed or bootlegged and for some reason a lot of people seem to be after it (personally I think it's pretty cheesy but it did used to get played a fair bit) so you can expect to pay £50+ for it :S

The link to your music seems to have disappeared so I can't listen to it. I came looking for the origin of the flake music. I have just been listening to Ramases' 1975 album "Glass Top Coffin" which features the song "Only the lonelist feeling", which is the same tune as in the flake ad, so I wondered whether Cadburys' advertisers picked it up, or whether Ramases himself (I once knew his real name, but can't find it now) moved into advertising and remembered the tune from his back catalogue. This is all probably a million miles from your original query, but I thought I'd post it anyway - it took me long enough to get registered with this forum (including about 4 attempts at recognising the garbled string!)
