1 might be so dreamy, but it is also doing my head in. I am certain I have got this but cannot remember what it is.

Another couple of samples would help (as for some reason, I have got it in my head that the tune gets a little bit darker further in).

Could be barking up completely the wrong tree though.

You would be right about it being on Vivatonal. The second sample was a big help actually.

I am about 99% certain it is Solace, either Hold Me Now or Bright Side.(http://www.discogs.com/release/308317)

I will try and have a check when I get home tonight. There is a chance that might not be at home as about half my collection is 400 miles away at my mum and dad's so I might not be able to 100% confirm till after Christmas.
