I know it was Sybil who did the 'Walk on by' remake

But not sure about the wishing on a star other than the artist Jaxx mentioned.

I`ve got a couple of versions of this

Fresh 4 - Wishing on a star (ten)
Gwen Dickie - Wishing on a star (Low spirit)

but they are from 1990

I think Smith & Mighty did a version on one of their eps on three stripe records - I`ll check for yoos

Im going with it being about 1990 too, with a that funky drummer break all the way through, you know the one used by the likes of Public Enemy and Soul 2 Soul.

Pauly is that one of the versions u have ?

Did one of these people do "Say a little prayer" about 1990 too ?

Smith & Mighty - Travelling / Walk on (Three stripe) is the sybil sample with cool beats and One of they`re eps does include a version of wishing on a star, could be either Funky man / Acid off or This is the time / The dark both on three strip records - can`t remember which ones - can`t find the tunes either but I know i`ve got `em.
