Myself, and others, have been trying to ID this fascinating tune for years - I've only ever heard it played once, by DJ SY, in this mix (DJ SY, Fibre Optic, Flying High, 1994) - DJ SY himself has been asked apparently, and even he couldn't ID it, so the hope of ever finding out is fading! But hopefully someone on here can save the day...
