"Are you ready for this" scratch sample

Hi All,

I am trying to find out if there were any other hip house tunes from around 1988/89 with this sample. I know it's on M-D-Emm - Get hip to this! from 89 but unsure this is where it originated from, as I am sure I heard it on another rap tune from that time on Jeff Young's big beat national fresh show.
I know it's on Sasha's mix of Evolution's Came outta nowhere in 1990.

I always thought M-D-Emm was the original but intrigued to find out if it was anything earlier

Hi Frostie, thanks for the info. Great to find the actual original tune it was taken from, but still think it was on something else US hip hop/house tune 88/89

Different sample / vocalist to my ears but that's a great tune - this is the original sample for that vocal from Musique - In The Bush, 1978 in at 6.09 onwards:
