Thread: Reward for ID of WBMX Euro/Ambient/Industrial Track

am trying to locate a track that I heard played by Derrick May at his first gig at the Liedernacht Hotel in Detroit, MI (circa 1983-6). It is a minimalist (think "Bladerunner") industrial/ambient track; the only lyrics are a haunting, female vocals "Cuts like a knife" or something to that effect.

Other tunes played were Dirty Talk(Klien & MBO), Transdance (Night Moves), Sharevari (A Number of Names), Frequency 7(Visage), Happy Station (Fun, Fun), Come on Closer (Pineapplies), etc. It was also a played occasionally by Hotmixx 5 in Chicago (ala Farley Jackmaster Funk, etc in the 1980s). Again think of a song that would fit into the Blade Runner soundtrack (but of course is not from the movie).

I've heard Juan Atkins and Jeff Mills play it as well. Here are some candidates (associating the lyrics, just by title, since no audio is available):
