Lalo Schifrin - Enter The Dragon (Music From The Motion Picture) at Discogs

This must be the original , don't know of a cover version.

thanks for your reply, but it's definitely not the original recording - it's twice as long for a start...

it may possibly be a more recent re-recording by lalo schifrin (there is a hint of a more modern recording sound about it), but i'm not aware he's re-done that soundtrack (unlike some others he's done in more recent times...)

the only other thing i know is that it's definitely NOT either the jack parnell version or the percy faith version...

any further suggestions/help welcomed, thanks

thanks - that's the one (confirmed by their myspace site)

good to see that someone's gone to the effort of putting together a live band doing all the 60's and 70's cult action themes, although not so good that it seems they only play in london...

i have toyed with doing something similar myself in the past, but it would be a lot of effort involved (you would likely need at least 7 players to make it feasible) with probably not much in return (well, not financially anyway...)
