UPDATE:

The track is from the Love Music Themes EP by Natural Progression and is a cover of 'Love Music' by Sergio Mendes and Brasil '77 (thanks Chiz) - there are a few mixes on the EP and as yet I am not certain which one is on the Sasha British Classics tape, but the vinyl is on its way to me so I'll update once I know.

One last plea for help

Sounds nothing like the original so I think you might be looking for a cover version not a remix.

Thanks Chiz - yep I make you right - just had a good listen to both - the vocal is different but the voice is very similar. It's almost like the original vocal is used as a harmony or something.

I can't find any cover version after the early 80's though. Thanks for the reply - appreciated.
