    Default DHP 972 Steve Silk Hurley and Mike Hitman Wilson

    Hi,

    Does anyone have a link for this tracklisting, I'm sorry I don't have any software to cut and paste the tracks.

    You can download the mix here;

    http://www.dhpmixes.com/mixes/steveh...onwgci1986.mp3

    Alternatively;

    1st track sounds like Steve Silk Hurley meets Marshall Jefferson "Move your Body", spring loaded piano chords and a great bass line, there's train samples a lot of the DJs used at the time mixed in

    Track 2 big cheesy analogue funk bass line, also features on one of the Ron Hardy mixes

    Track 3 Speeded up salsa house track with the vocals from that song JX sampled in 'Son of a Gun'

    Track 4 Fantastic electro funk track with weird whispered robot vocals 'I want you, to want me, you say, you don't need me...' with a bass line straight out of Model 500 and a sax line over the top

    Track 5 Great old acid track with lots of industrial noises going on

    Track 6 Unknown Cuts [not looking for this one]

    Then the man himself; Jack your Body

    Any ideas?

    thanks I figured this tracklisting would be somewhere online.

    Dying to know what that first track is, Mart describes it as a Hurley style track too I suspect it was never released. I think a lot of those hotmix 5 stuff wasn't done ilive on decks but pre editted.

    Would be interested in knowing if this track pre-dates Marshall as the two are very similar and Marshall was saying in that History of house documentary that nobody ever put piano in a house track before [see ecstasy passion & pain above!].

    This track actually sounds like Hurley has taken some of the outtakes from move your body and stuck them over the outtakes from jack your body.

    Thanks both of you for your help.
