New power generation?

Was out last night and the dj played a tune I've been trying to id for over ten years. I went and asked him what it was and I am sure he said 'new power generation' but I've had a look on htfr and they all seem to be princes band.

It was a big house tune, with a vocal that almost sounds like a rap, really fast over the top. Think it is from 94/95. It was hammered in Brum, las night was the first time I have heard it up north.

Any ideas?
