Just found this site through Discogs! Wonder if some of the more knowledgeable amongst you can help me with an ID of a tune I had on a tape back in 1991 taped off pirate radio...
The sample is.. 'never wanna hurt you' female vocals that repeat. The tune then breaks with some mental hardcore stabs (that are sampled in loads of HC tunes in the years to follow) then drops into a really deep and atmospheric tune with seriously heavy breakbeats. Now my memory is a bit hazey and it may be that the vocals is a separate track to the stabs and atmos (the two of which are DEFINATELY the same tune) but it will help to eliminate it if thats the case.
I lost the tape years ago so I cant get a rip
If anyone can throw some light on this there is a 'virtual' pint in it for ya!
