    Default 2 1992 techno tracks

Hi all, trying to ID a couple of tracks from a 1992 mix my the late, legendary aussie DJ Angus...

First has some rolling synth, and a bit of a vocoder sample which I can't understand aside from the word 'energise'. Also at about 25:30 (just before Sound Corp. - Regentime Part II) a bit of a break section with a sample "rock on" or maybe "walk on"

    https://soundcloud.com/paul-mcmahon-...nnel-a#t=23:45

The second is a haunting, mildly acid sort of a track, sadly with no helpful vocal samples

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Paul

Tunnel A 23:45 .... I've heard that tune so many times but I can't remember the name.
Someone here will know it for sure.

Hello mate - a fellow Aussie I see... Funny - most of my unanswered mystery tunes were tracks that were popular (back in the day) in Aus, but it seems no-one else has heard them... This one for instance (don't suppose you know it?):

Which I have been looking for since the 90's, only Aussies seem to remember... I may have to trawl through the Australian releases of the day

It's from the original EP not the Remix EP.

Yehh, I was going to say that I was sure it was on Rabbit City Records and sure enough it was. I listened to all my tunes but couldnt find it. I think I've got it on vinyl (not in my MP3 collection) doh.

    Hey mate!
Sorry I don't know that one.
I've heard it recently though, probably the same sample from your ID thread. ?
Do you have a longer sample? Sometimes that can help to ID the tune.
The guitar riff at the beginning sounds familiar but I can't place it.

    Good luck finding it.

Sorry the link didn't work for you properly @ groovesection...

But thanks for the ID - hadn't really got around to trying to identify that track - figured it would be a difficult one, so stuck it on the bottom of the pile You've saved me a bunch of effort - much appreciated mate!

    Cheers,

    Paul

    No need to apologize mate

It's because I have scripting turned off by default in my Browser, if I allow scripts on Soundcloud before clicking the link it does direct to 42 mins
