Stumbled upon this sample from a song from around 1986-1988 with a very distinctive speech sample. Unfortunately Google search doesn't yield any results.

Help much appreciated.

Happy you found it! The sample you had was so short it was hard to identify the exact mix, but that one sounds pretty close to me
