Default jocelyn brown aint no mountain high enough - who remixed/sampled it in 91

    ---------------SOLVED--------------- thanks Noel

jocelyn brown aint no mountain high enough - who remixed/sampled it in 91?

YouTube - Inner Life Featuring Jocelyn Brown - Ain't No Mountain High Enough (Larry Levan's Garage Mix) - i'm talking bout this early 80s track from larry levan & francois k.

the track i heard in 91 was all stripped down, the vocals centered around repeats of

    oh baby 0.39

call my name.... i'll be right there 01.07

    oh yes i will 01.04

and absolutely none of the chorus/verse.

the keyboard and guitar samples in the first 40 seconds were maybe used, otherwise it was like a completely different tune.

    thanks

Thanks but hmmmmm, i listened to the dub, then the D.O.P. vocal - neither of those are the one. I'm left wondering now.

Long shot but this uses similar pieces from the KXP cover:

YouTube - Todd Terry Unreleased Project - I'll Do Anything

Reckon this may be the one... I was gonna suggest it too. Graeme Park was playing it in the Hac around April '92

Thanks but I'm still looking. Of course they have the elements, but not all of them. It didn't sound like a TT mix, its was more, I dunno, heady?
