Thread: Last Night A DJ? - Mike Pickering

Mike Pickering played a mix of "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" early on at the Hac do - hard to describe without a sample, but its very minimal beats behind it and sparse vocal mainly just the 'Last Night A DJ Daved My Life' bit. A corking version and pretty sure he wasn't using an acappella over something as he wasn't fiddling around with the decks too much when it was on. Had a look on discogs and there's a few possibilities...

Its the Balearic Beats version I'm pretty sure. It seemed to go on for ages - very minimal and sparse vocals, but it sounded great on the sound system they had in there.

If poss Hairy, could you pm the cat details etc of the vinyl?
