Quick question to kick off this new bit of the board!

Does anyone know the hip hop tune that the sample "No one can compete cos I heat like a fireball" comes from, as sampled on Timebase - Fireball. Also I believe the other sample "Drop just like a boulder" (or bulldog as someone thought it said) is from the same tune.

It is definitely an old skool hip hop tune which I think I have on a tape somewhere but can't find.

No idea of the tune mate, but I'm sure it says Drop this like a boulder

I used to have 10 copies of Fireball lol, ahhh happy days...

Was talking to Al about this earlier, maybes someone like Caveman perhaps?

Need some specialist hip hop dudes on the case, and I know two on another board, so will point em in the direction of this thread..

Moggys a top man and yourself for asking the question!

Ive been looking to find where the FIREBALL sample came from since 1991! Thanks for putting my mind at rest!

But..........

I was at a party about 5 years ago and a DJ played a very old (rare) Italian House record from about 87/88! and it used the Fireball Sample... it blew my head that much I forgot to ask him what it was!

Can anyone help?

Adam
