Ok, here's the deal, getting some 5hit from some moderators for using zippyshare over the upload service. So, first point,

1. Fair enough, you'd rather the upload was used on the site, you can ask nicely.

And...

2. What's wrong with zippy? It does not run out and is as safe as an upload. It takes a click to take you to the embedded player where you can hear the track. With the upload you have to download the track and then navigate to the folder, then open it in your media player, then delete it after. And that's easier than clicking a link?

Talk about putting people off using Tuneid, what is it with you mods, always there to hassle people.

I'd appreciate serious advice here so please let's not start a slagging match.

Its very simple, not everyone got a fast pc or connection, loads of external upload sites contain loads of flashy ads making yer pc going (even) slower and its time consuming...

Our own upload tool is fast and secure

and if ya took the time to read some stickies ya would have noticed we strongly recommend using our own device over zippy, megaupload, mediafire, zshare etc.

Fair enough about slow computers, an angle I never gave much thought to, so you could have PM'd me rather than 5hitty sarcastic comments?

Genuine suggestion, amend the sticky? I read it and it says "Just a quick note to remind members that you can add files up to 1.5Mb to your posts, there is an attachment facility", it doesn't say must, I understood this to be that it is up to the poster to use if they so wished. You could amend the sticky to explain why we should be using the upload. That way genuine people like me won't be trying to do the right thing only to get slated by the mods.

In a nutshell, I see where you're coming from, just wished you'd have told me in a different way. Not out to upset anyone but lets be honest, from my point of view I got jumped on by more than one for a genuine mistake that could have been addressed politely.

So, point taken, let’s move on.
