Default trying to download files

Hi , I am having difficulty recording my tracks to id , I am using griffin imic and copying from tapes. The samples are only 20 seconds long but the files are about 2.5 mb in size and it says that this exceeds the forum limit, I have seen much longer tracks on here?? I am recoring onto AV RAck software and then downloading from there ... any ideas

Sounds like your clips are wav files. If that's the case you need to convert them to low bitrate mp3's. I convert my clips, using RazorLame, to 32kbps mono, so the files are about 235kb per minute... the forum limit is 1mb.
