Long Shot 1991 ID
Hi again,
Ive been trying to ID a tune from a mix tape from 1991 and its proving very difficult as ive no rip of it to play and there are no voxs. Right.....the track has a shuffling beat to start with and throughout and a squelchy (not too acid like) infectious riff that changes pitch "do do do do do....de de de de de...do do do do do......de de de de de"whilst playing in parts. It is accompanied at various points where the beats and riff stop and what i can only describe as a singing womens chorus of just voices (the kind of sound that the mythical sirens would sing, a soundtrack such as in the movie Raiders of the lost ark" when the ark is opened etc or....in an old sci fi movie.."aaahhhh,ahhhhh,ahhhh" you know the type..........but also, at times a classical style piano comes in without beats or vox and the piano slows in pitch until the squelchy riff main part of the tune kicks in again with the beats. The bassline is a stabbing one."boom, boom, boom, boom, boom boom.......boom.boom boom boom" and phat as.(lol...if anyone gets this they desserve a medal. any comments or ideas to what it could possibly sound like or be would be great
