    Q Project Champion Sound Remix

This link https://www.discogs.com/Q-Project-Ba...elease/3254138 sounds like your sound file, listen from 3.16 mins into it..If it turns out to be the same tune as the other link i have posted further down the page then please read the comments on the speed of the breaks.

I believe this link https://www.discogs.com/Q-Project-Ra...elease/3912669 is the same track as the link above, although not 100% sure as i cannot find a sound file, all the evidence seems to suggest it is though..

Here's the You Tube Clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K257rdLrsng Looks like Ratty is playing a 10" here and that's what the Original copy of the tune was pressed on....And it also looks like it was played quite a bit until it was dropped.
Am i the next Sherlock Holmes?

    Ethereal is bound to know..

Not a problem mate Ethereal has been on since mate so maybe he doesn't know? suffice as to say ive had it confirmed and it is the tune your after, they are both the same tunes, just labelled differently and Ratty does his usual cutting up and effects etc.

It's the unreleased Mastersafe remix. Played by Ratty in almost all his late 94 and 1995 sets.

Yeh I read that the DAT tape containing the Mastersafe remix was lost.
However, they recreated it as close as they could and released it on this: https://www.discogs.com/Q-Project-Ba...elease/3254138
Q Project - Champion Sound (Unofficial '95 Bootleg Mix)

The place I got the info from is: Q Project - Champion Sound [Mastersafe Remix] (October 1994) - Unreleased Tunes - RollDaBeats Forum

That's the link i put in my initial response.. Look further up the page
It was confirmed by a mate that both the tunes are the same but i couldn't find a soundfile for this version of the tune https://www.discogs.com/Q-Project-Ra...elease/3912669 so i still can't say 100%.

The Bootleg Mix was obviously the one though, you could hear that, if you listen closely though there is a slight difference but Ratty is using effects, cutting it etc.

Oh well, cheers for confirming that..
I keep hearing though that they recreated it from a tape and that has also been mentioned on the Discogs page notes, like you say the DAT was lost.
