Numark Matrix 3 - £195

Mint, does everything I need, just needs a modification to alter the way the transform buttons work and it'll then be 100% perfect

Product Review
If this mixer is anything to go by then numark will be the industry leader within the next two years. The rate they've picked their r&d up is phenomenal and now they're really starting to make a push on the big boys' spots. The dxm06 is packed with features, including a feather light crossfader, inbuilt effects unit with a tap and hold mechanism and kill switches and eqs that go all the way down. This french made mixer ..... a bit oldschool, but, as described by DJ Laurent Garnier , probably the best sounding mixer ever ..
a bit expensive I reckon ....

Invested in a Pioneer DJM600......and it is the biz

To be honest I never really use the effects on it that much and have never used the sampler, but the build is excellent and the crossfader is da bollox imo.....

Always made the mistake of buying cheaper mixers sub £250, not knocking them as they were good mixers but I and ended up buying about 3 mixers in the space of 5 years... i reckon I'll keep this DJM600 for 5 years so i'll save money in the long run as I will not be upgrading in the next 5 years with this baby...

I have just got me a Behringer Djx 700 this week.

I found it to have the best range of features for the money and with the use i will be giving it i am sure it will last for quite a while now.

Had a couple of geminis before hand but the crossfaders were both knackered.

Andy

DJM600 all the way for me - the oversized EQ pots are ACE for all round fun and skillz in the mix. The sound isn't the best quality compared to the Allen & Heath how ever I really don't like the channels and the size of the EQ pots. The xfader doesn't respond as well as the DJM600 for me.

I would really like a RANE MP 2016 with a RANE XP 2016
